St. Catherine Laboure School Volunteer Requirements

Thank you for your willingness to volunteer at St. Catherine Labouré School. Please know that your generosity is greatly appreciated! Our school is dependent on volunteers to create the wonderful programs and services we offer to our students each year. Without your support, SCL would not be the close-knit, connected school that we are.

The Archdiocese of Chicago has several requirements that must be met be all volunteers. These requirements are designed to ensure that our students are in a safe environment at all times. All volunteers are required to go through background checks and to be familiar with the rules and policies of the Archdiocese in regard to working with children.

The complete list of requirements, along with an explanation of how to fulfill these, are detailed below and can also be found on the Archdiocese website. All paperwork must be complete and turned in to the office before you may begin serving as a volunteer.
